Please note the following changes effective 10/15/20 regarding the virtual tournament rules.

Effective 10/15/20 students who are not participating on school grounds may have their phones on speaker to be able to communicate with their partner during the round.
Cell phones must remain flat on the desk/table and not held during the round.

Normally in an in-person tournament students can whisper to their partner during their opponents speech, however it was brought up during a prior tournament that those who were not on school grounds were not able to communicate with their partners during the round except for before, after and during prep time.

Students who are not speaking to the judge should have their microphones muted.
Students should try to limit the amount of conversing as major argument points could be missed while not flowing.

NOTE: *Team's must have a hard copy of the evidence to be used during the tournament. The electronic version is only to be used if it is requested by the other team.
